Albertans smug, condescending, uncaring

People outside the province don’t seem to like Albertans very much.
A recently released study of residents in Toronto and Vancouver found nearly half of the respondents felt Albertans don’t care about the rest of Canada, while one-quarter find us greedy and another quarter feel we are arrogant.
The poll was conducted back in 2008 for the Alberta government, but the results were only just published recently.
It also found considerable perceptions that open-mindedness and tolerance aren’t what they should be in the province.
