Edmonton police want to hire more than 100 new officers, and a recruiting team is in Calgary this week.
They’ll be holding information sessions at Bow Valley College, Mount Royal University, and the University of Calgary.
Constable Carmen Fidler explains they are looking for a particular kind of applicant.
“You know, good ethical and moral character, some work experience — full-time work experience — or post-secondary education. We even have a lot of people from different trades apply with us, so anything is beneficial,” she said.
Fidler says people can also apply online or go to Edmonton where information sessions are held every two weeks.
