Eight people entering the Alberta Order of Excellence

Eight outstanding Albertans are being invested into the Alberta Order of Excellence Wednesday.

Sheldon Kennedy is among those being honoured for being a tireless advocate for abuse survivors and his work with the Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre.

Also being recognized are Barry Bultz, Linda Hughes, Leroy Little Bear, Michael Massey, Paulette Patterson, Shirley Penner, and Bill Yuill.

The ceremony takes place at 4:00 p.m. at Government House in Edmonton.
