A seminar in Calgary Tuesday will look at the possible tax changes, opportunities and challenges that will come with the new Trump administration in the U.S.
Kim Moody is with Moodys Gartner Tax Law.
“To see a reduction in the corporate tax rate in the United States — would not surprise anybody. That’s been long talked about both by the Republican Party and by President Trump, and so, that one I think would not surprise anybody.
“Some of the other stuff that’s out there, like border destination tax or things like that — who knows.”
The event starts at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Westin downtown.
