About 400 people are expected to participate in the Coldest Night of the Year walk in Calgary this weekend.
The goal is to raise $100,000 for homelessness projects in the city.
“Here in Calgary we are raising funds for Feed the Hungry, The Mustard Seed and to pay down the mortgage on Bankview apartments,” Location Director Samantha Jones said.
The Calgary East walk starts at Eau Claire Market Saturday night.
