One man was killed in a single vehicle crash on the Stoney Nakoda First Nation Friday night.
At around 8:30 p.m., Cochrane RCMP responded to the scene of the collision on Eagle Hill Rd. at Highway 1A.
A van with two people inside lost control on gravel and rolled several times down an embankment, eventually coming to a rest on its wheels.
The 34-year-old man behind the wheel was pronounced dead at the scene, while a woman in her twenties was sent to Foothills Medical Centre in non-life threatening condition.
The collision remains under investigation, and all possible contributing factors are still being considered.
