CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Dozens of election signs continue to be vandalized across the city, with a UCP candidate for Calgary-McCall posting on Instagram saying residents continue to send him pictures.
Jasraj Hallan says over the past two days, 36 lawn signs and 4 large signs have been damaged. They have been knocked down, ripped, or cut out.
This is not the first time for vandalized signs, during this campaign.
Last week, Alberta Party candidate Joanne Gui had racist slurs spray painted on a large sign in the riding of Calgary-Edgemont.

Elections Alberta says it does not have rules around damaging election signs.
Calgary police however can charge people with mischief, trespassing, or potentially a hate crime if warranted.
