Tow truck driver hospitalized after being hit by car in the northeast

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — A tow truck driver has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a vehicle in the northeast Wednesday morning.

The driver was attending to the scene of an earlier crash when he was hit.

EMS says they got the call around 5:45 a.m. for a collision in the area of 11 Street and 57 Avenue NE.

Paramedics rushed the man to hospital in serious but stable condition.

The previous crash that the tow truck driver was attending to resulted in another man being taken to hospital in stable, non-life-threatening condition.
