Sights and Sounds: Day Two of CPKC Women’s Open in Calgary

The sun made its presence felt on the second day of the CPKC Women’s Open at Earl Grey Golf Club.

Although it was 10 degrees cooler than what the golfers were used to during their practice rounds earlier this week, they embraced the sunshine.

Veteran Canadian Alena Sharp started with a morning tee time.

The 43-year-old performed well on her back nine, with an eagle and a birdie. At +3, she made the cut and will play this weekend in what’s her 19th appearance at this tournament.
