One dead after two-vehicle crash in NE Calgary

One person is dead after a crash in northeast Calgary on Monday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the area of 96 Avenue and 68 Street NE for reports of multi-vehicle collision around 11 a.m.

Paramedics tell CityNews two vehicles were involved in a crash.

One adult was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

There is no word on the cause of the collision. Calgary police are investigating.

Airport Trail/96 Avenue NE was closed from 60 Street to Stoney Trail for several hours but reopened around 3:30 p.m.
