Vehicle flips onto roof in SW Calgary crash

A vehicle ended up landing on its roof after a crash at a busy southwest Calgary intersection on Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to 33 Avenue SW near the ramps onto Crowchild Trail around 1:30 p.m. for reports of a multi-vehicle collision.

Images from the scene show one vehicle flipped onto its roof and a white van with damage to its front-end. Both vehicles had to be towed away.

Paramedics tell CityNews no one was hurt.

Eastbound 33 Avenue was blocked at Crowchild for more than an hour but the roads have since reopened.
