The funeral for the father and daughter killed in a domestic double homicide is set for Saturday.

The service for Ania Kaminski and Stanislaw Wardzala will take place at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church at 2111 Uxbridge Drive NW beginning at 11 a.m.

This will be followed by a Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. There will be a live stream at 11 a.m., which can be found here.

Calgary police say the two were killed on Sunday, Dec. 29 in the city’s northwest by Ania’s husband Benedict Kaminski. He was found dead the next day near his car after a manhunt and a dangerous person alert was cancelled.

The brother and son of the two told CityNews his sister was planning on leaving her husband after a domestic dispute escalated at a Christmas dinner.

Ania taught grades 1 and 2 at Elizabeth Barrett Elementary School and Ecole Edwards Elementary School in Airdrie. She also worked at Springbank Community High School for a few years.

GoFundMe set up by Ania’s friend on behalf of her mother to support her three children has raised nearly $330,000 as of Saturday morning.
