Police investigating after BB gun reportedly fired from church roof in NE Calgary

A group of kids are in custody after reports of a BB gun being fired from the roof of a church in northeast Calgary.

Calgary Police Service (CPS) tell CityNews they received calls about people firing shots from the roof of the Calgary Church of Christ near Marlborough Mall around 5:25 p.m. Wednesday.

A caller to the 660 NewsRadio newsroom says there was a heavy police presence near the back of the mall.

CPS say four youth were arrested at the scene. Officers are still looking for the reported BB gun.

No injuries have been reported.
