Reports of shots fired at a home in northwest Calgary has led to several arrests, according to police.
Staff Sgt. John Guigon tells 660 NewsRadio officers responded to Hunterview Drive NW around 7 p.m. Monday for reports shots had been fired at a home.
“We attended and we did find what appeared to be a single gunshot into a residence at that address that seemed to have originated at the house next door,” he explained.
Guigon says “numerous” people were called out of the home in question before being arrested.
Officers are currently executing a search warrant.
There were no injuries associated with the incident, according to Guigon.
Localized traffic was impacted for a time due to the police presence, and some area homes were evacuated, but have since been allowed re-entry.
No information is available about possible charges at this time.
