The QEII highway reopened after it was shut down south of Red Deer due to a multi-vehicle crash and tanker rollover Friday.
Mounties say the highway near Township Road 362 is now open, and traffic flow has returned to normal. It reopened in all directions just before 11 a.m., according to 511 Alberta.
Regarding the incident, Innisfail RCMP say they responded to a three-vehicle crash near Township Road 362, between Innisfail and Red Deer, around 4:30 p.m.
Images from the scene show a tanker on its side across the highway’s southbound lanes.
