Man hospitalized after hit-and-run crash in SE Calgary

A man is in hospital following a hit-and-run crash in southeast Calgary on Thursday night.

Emergency crews were called to 25 Street and 76 Avenue SE in the community of Ogden around 9 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

Paramedics say a man was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

The driver involved did not remain at the scene, according to police. There is no word on a suspect vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.
