Former I, Mother Earth singer brings duo acoustic show to the Blues Can this week

Brian Byrne has been the on again off again lead singer for Canadian rockers I, Mother Earth since 1997, replacing original lead singer Edwin.

He recorded two albums with the band, 1999’s, ‘Blue Green Orange’ and ‘The Quicksilver Meat Dream’ in 2003.

Byrne says he and good friend Emre Cords will be playing a mix of solo material, covers, and classic I, Mother Earth tracks at the Blues Can this Thursday, June 18.
