Province shutters numerous fraudulent trucking companies and schools

As part of it’s efforts to crackdown on unsafe trucking operations, the Alberta government says they’ve shut down 20 ‘unsafe’ carrier companies since October, and five fraudulent Class 1 trucking schools since April of 2025.
