Canmore RCMP search for missing man

Police are trying to locate 56-year-old Anthony Alfred Jones of Canmore.
The experienced hiker, also known as Tony, was reported missing on December 19th, but the last reported contact with him was about 10 days earlier.
A Parks Canada Canine Unit and a helicopter search, failed to turn up anything in the mountains surrounding Canmore.
Although it’s not confirmed that Jones went hiking, investigators say his backpack and hiking gear are missing and he’s known to hike alone.
Jones is described as 6 feet one inch tall, possibly wearing a black MEC jacket and has a slight British accent.
