If you’re looking for a little intellectual entertainment Sunday, you could catch a viewing of the landmark documentary “Inside Islam: What a Billion Muslims Really Think.”
The film takes a look at a six year-long survey of more than 1.3 billion Muslims from more than 35 countries worldwide, and will be shown starting at 7 p.m. at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
Kashif Ahmed from the Muslim Council of Calgary tells 660News, the film looks to break some of the stereotypical myths about Muslims, including the treatment of women by Muslim men.
Sunday’s event also includes a panel discussion after the film. Tickets are $15 or $20 each.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The panel session will start at 8:00 p.m.
