Calgary police seek violent offender

A dangerous offender recently released from prison may be in the Calgary area, and police say he poses significant risk to the public.

Curtis Dale Hill was released from Edmonton in December after serving a 10-year sentence.

The 31-year-old has been monitored by the high-risk offender program, who now say Hill has breached the conditions of his release, and they’ve issued multiple warrants for his arrest.

Hill is described as a white male with a shaved head, green eyes, weighing 150 lbs and about 5’11” tall.

He was serving time for several offences including armed robbery, assault, break and enter and assaulting a peace officer.

Police warn Hill is both predatory and opportunistic and uses violence to achieve his goals.

They also say he is particularly violent toward authority figures.

The Calgary Police Service is issuing this information and warning because it believes Hill poses a risk of significant harm to the health and safety of persons in the Calgary area.

If any one has information on Curtis Dale HILL, they can contact the Calgary Police Service High Risk Offender Program anytime, at (403) 206-8718.
