Cut cable leaves thousands without phone, TV and the net

Thousands of Calgarians were left in the dark after a fibre-optic cable was cut in the north part of the city.
Crews working in the area of Centre street and 6th Avenue damaged the cable around 11 o’clock yesterday morning. Telus phone and internet customers were affected for the whole day.
Shaw television service was also affected.
