Police catch wanted man in Strathmore

Police have caught an escaped Calgary mental patient.
30 year-old Ranjit Singh was picked up outside a chain store in Strathmore late Tuesday afternoon.
City police issued a warning after the man questioned late last year in the murder of his father walked away from the psychiatric unit at Foothills Hospital.
In early December, 60 year-old Harinder Singh, died after a brutal beating in his northeast home.
His son was questioned for several hours in the case, but wasn’t charged.
