Husky project is a go

Husky Energy is ready to roll on it’s $2.5 billion sunrise project.

The Calgary Herald reports, the company got approval to move ahead with the oilsands project in northern Alberta, which is a joint venture between Husky and B-P.

It’s going to come in under budget to the tune of $1 billion.

A number of other developments are back on after fears they would go by the wayside due to the sagging economy.

Imperial’s Kearl project, and Suncor’s Firebag Stages Three and Four are also going ahead.
