Getting a taste of the Olympics

Canadian troops in Afghanistan are truly getting a taste for the Olympics.

A fine arts teacher from Calgary sent a pack of Olympic themed gum to a serving officer in Afghanistan. Now the teacher’s students have picked up the ball and run with it.

The school is raising cash to send over 15-hundred packages of gum to Afghanistan; they started a toonie campaign to come up with the money.

So far, more than 700 dollars has been raised.
