Auto sales to rebound

Alberta and B.C. will lead the way when it comes to car and light truck sales in 2010.

Scotia Economics says commodity prices are starting to rebound from their lows of last year, putting more money in people’s pockets, spurring sales.

About 15-thousand more new vehicles are expected to be sold in our province over the last year.  B.C. should see about an 8-thousand vehicle sales bump.

Across Canada, Scotia expects about 1.53-million vehicles to be sold.
