Trans’ time running out

It looks like an alleged Calgary gangster will soon be heading out of town.

A federal court decision ruled against Jackie Trans’ bid to see one of his two deportation orders revisited.

Yesterday, Tran was placed under an enforceable deportation order which means he could be deported within the next week.

Trans’ case has now dragged on in the courts for six years but it looks like his options have finally run out.

The 27 year old moved here in 1993 from Vietnam but dropped out of high school in grade ten.

His deportation order is based on the fact he is a reputed gang member with several drugs and offences charges.
