Alcohol factor in late night accident

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a late night crash that sent a pedestrian to hospital.
The 62-year-old woman was walking across the street last night in the 200 block of Martindale Drive northeast, when she was hit.
She was taken to Foothills Hospital in serious but stable condition.
The traffic section is investigating the accident.
