A Jasper icemaker is realizing his lifelong dream at the Vancouver Olympics.
Peter Bridge has been perfecting the art of making ice for two decades.
He’ll be supplying the surface that the women’s Olympic hockey teams will be playing on.
Bridge was approached by the NHL’s lead ice maker, Dan Craig, and says he was thrilled at the opportunity, adding it doesn’t get any bigger than working on Olympic ice.
He says he and his team are battling some humidity, but overall things are going smoothly at UBC’s Thunderbird Arena.
