Suspicous death in Edgemont

Calgary police say they’ve been called before to a northwest home where they’re now investigating what could be the city’s third murder of the year.
A man is being questioned after his 41-year old wife died following some sort of altercation at the Edgemont home Sunday. Investigators are calling the death suspicious.
Sunday afternoon, CPS members were called to the home along Edgehill Drive to find the 41-year-old in medical distress. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
A 15-year old and three-year old girl were taken from the home and into the care of social services.
Police say they have been called to this duplex before. Last year they responded to a report of a verbal dispute. no charges were laid at the time.
A neighbour tells 660News the family appeared average and normal, just like any other family in the city.
