With Valentine’s Day just around the corner a new survey reveals that many Canadians aren’t feeling the love about their workplace.
The Workopolis survey reports only 53 per cent of us love what we do to make a living
Nearly six in 10 questioned say better compensation would increase their affection for their employment.
Better work/life balance and more opportunities to learn were also mentioned as attraction drivers that Canadians look for in a potential employer.
The survey also found 16 per cent of us stay with our current employer just to pay the bills and 14 per cent are scared to make a change.
