Another fee hike at U of C?

U of C students could get hit with another fee increase.

The school is now talking about raising non-academic fees by 500 dollars, but a spokesperson tells the Calgary Herald, no actual amount has been decided upon.

The spokesperson also says this is another attempt by the school to try and balance it’s budget.

Non-academic fees already account for over 650 dollars a year.

Earlier this year, the school announced it was looking at raising tuition fees in professional programs by as much as 45 per cent, setting off a storm of controversy on campus.
