Calgary Online Safety week starts Monday

If you wonder about internet lingo, which strangers lurk in chat rooms and just how much personal information is on Facebook, Calgary’s Online Safety week can help answer these questions.

The program started in 2007 and is aimed at arming both kids and parents with online safety skills.

The project’s Shawna Ogston tells 660News, the key issue for families is continued communication and online education.

Calgary Online Safety week starts this Monday and runs until Saturday, March 6th.
