Vintage planes still in pieces

There are still no concrete plans from the City of Calgary to deal with two vintage aircraft in their possession.

Both the Hawker Hurricane and De Havilland Mosquito are in pieces in storage.

According to CTV, A city hall committee has refused to approve spending $1.6-million to restore the aircraft.

However, Calgary aldermen have agreed to see what kind of support there is from the community to have the planes restored.

The issue comes back to the committee in June.
