Access to physiotherapy increasing in Alberta

The province says hip and knee surgery patients are getting better access to physiotherapy.
About 75 per cent of those patients are now mobile on the day of their surgeries.
That’s up from 47 per cent six months ago.
A new pilot project is being credited for the success. The aim is to free up patient beds for hundreds of people.
