Preliminary hearing set for Reitz

A preliminary hearing has been set for a Calgary man charged in the death of his step-daughter.

45-year old Bradley Reitze appeared through closed circuit TV from the Calgary Remand Centre Thursday as his first degree murder case was put over to November.

That’s when five days of hearings have been scheduled to determine if there’s enough evidence to order him to stand trial.

In January, the body of 17-year old Brittney McInnis was found stuffed in a box spring mattress in the family home in Canyon Meadows.   She was discovered after her mother reported her missing.
