New letter could be from pipeline bomber

After months of silence, A newspaper in northeastern B.C. has received another letter purportedly from the person behind the pipeline bombings that have targeted Encana installations near Dawson Creek.

In the letter to the Dawson Creek Daily News, the alleged bomber says “a long hot summer is coming” and the “timeout is over.”

The letter has been turned over to the RCMP, who will try to determine if it is a hoax.

Since October, 2008 there have been six bombings of oil and gas facilities in the Tomslake area of B.C..

Despite offers of a $1 million reward, police have laid no charges in the case.
