Students at the University of Calgary celebrated what many are calling the best day of the year. Bermuda Shorts Day marks the end of classes. It’s been an annual event since 1961. Several police officers were on hand as students let off steam, keeping tabs on some couch racing earlier in the day. With his tongue firmly planted in his cheek Roman tells 660News “It’s not about getting intoxicated, it’s about celebrating in a responsible way, without alcohol.” Cindy says the partying will go on well into the weekend.
