Fire destroys home in Bridlewood

A fire has ripped through a home in the southwest community of Bridlewood. No one was hurt in the blaze, but Acting Battalion Chief Brian Wagner tells 660News there is a dog missing. He says crews initiated a second alarm immediately after arriving on scene at four p.m. Wagner says the fire was contained to the home and a couple of acres of grass in behind the house. A man who lives in the area tells 660News crews initially had trouble getting their equipment in to fight the blaze because many people had stopped to see what was happening. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
