Changes coming to downtown C-Train stations

C-Train riders at some downtown stations will have to walk a few extra blocks to get on.

Starting on Monday, the City Hall and 3rd Street S.E. stations will shut down.

The City Hall’s platform will be rebuilt, while 3rd Street will close permanently.

It’ll be replaced with a new station in front of the Calgary Public Library downtown.

The new platforms will open in June 2011.
