Elderly Calgary couple caught dumping

Next time you think about illegally dumping your trash, make sure there isn’t a video camera trained on you.

That’s exactly what happened to an elderly Calgary couple.

A Calgary Sun reader caught the man and woman dumping eight garbage bags of trash, along with a cardboard box full of household junk and a dead potted plant in North Glenmore Park.

The Calgary Sun’s Michael Platt reports, By-law Boss Bill Bruce says the fine for dumping and clean-up costs could hit $750.

The cost to use the landfill is $12.
