Gangs in Calgary are targeting younger and younger recruits these days.
Some children, even as young as 11 years old, are being approached to join the city’s organized crime network.
Calgary police tell the Calgary Sun, in once case they discovered five separate gangs operating out of one local school.
They believe one of the main reasons adult gangs are going after young kids is because they’re easy targets.
Police add – the gangs in B.C. are the richest, the gangs in Ontario are the biggest, but the gangs in Calgary are the smartest.
