A gun was fired during a daylight robbery at a pharmacy in Mission.

Two masked men in dark clothing walked into “The Medicine Shoppe” at 4th Street and 24th Avenue around 8:30 Thursday morning.

One of them pulled a gun and shot a single round before the two thieves were able to take off with an undisclosed amount of the drug OxyContin.

There were no customers in the shop at the time and no one was injured.  Police say the suspects ran away.

A transit bus was stopped in front of pharmacy at the time so police have a number of witnesses to the robbery.
