Organizers of Project Homeless Connect are celebrating another successful day for their event.

The open house at the the Suncor Energy Centre downtown is held several times a year and gives Calgary’s homeless and near-homeless a chance to receive services they generally go without.

Over 40 different agencies were on scene Saturday at the event, providing everything from haircuts to a hot lunch.

The Calgary Homeless Foundation recruits more than 150 volunteers to help during each PHC.

The next event will be held on November 20, 2010
