City police have arrested a young man following a stabbing around 9:30 Saturday night at a liquor store and gas station in 100 block of 36th Street Northeast.

Police say a group of four young men attacked the victim, who was sent to hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound.

Duty Inspector Geoff Gawlinski tells 660News, the victim appears to have had an argument with his attackers.

One of the men is in the process of being charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
