The NHL is set to announce two outdoor games for next season, one in Calgary.

TSN is reporting the announcement will be made Friday in New York.

The Flames would host the Montreal Canadiens sometime in February at McMahon Stadium.

Calgary has been rumoured for sometime now as a possible host of an outdoor game, even since the first Winter Classic was held in Edmonton.

Another game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals is also expected to be announced, a game that will be played on New Year’s day at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
