It looks like it will be an indoor activity type of weekend, so a spring art showcase might offer some distraction.

The South Calgary Spring Art Showcase will feature 20 artists from in and around the city.

Carl Fodor with the exhibit tells 660News, a diverse group of artists and their work will be on display with pieces ranging from traditional landscapes to modern abstracts.

The Spring Art Showcase is on Saturday May 29th,  from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the South Calgary Community Centre on 16th Street SW, close to Marda Loop.

All proceeds from a silent auction will benefit Calgary’s Interfaith Food Bank.
