Hope expected to be sentenced

A local man is expected to be sentenced Tuesday for his baby daughter’s death.

Jonathan Hope was convicted of failing to provide the neccesities of life to 16-month-old Summer Hope.

She died after ingesting her father’s methadone in April 2006.

Hope was found criminally responsible for his part in the death after a psychiatric assessment.

Summer’s mother, Lisa Guerin has already been sentenced to time behind bars for her part in her daughter’s death.
