Calgary’s C-Train killer is appealing his first degree murder conviction and life sentence.
24-year-old Christopher Watcheston raped and beat Arcelie Laoagan in January 2008 after following her from the Franklin LRT station.
He left Laoagan to die along a dark pathway on a very cold winter night.
According to The Calgary Herald, Watcheston’s appeal is based on what he calls “incorrect findings” during trial, specifically evidence from doctors.
