RV fire

Thanks to some quick work by Calgary fire fighters, a southeast automotive shop suffered minor damage after an RV caught fire in one of its service bays.

An employee noticed smoke filling the shop just before 9 a.m. Friday.

After crews arrived, a firefighter drove the burning RV outside, where the flames were then put out.

One person was rushed to hospital with chest pains unrelated to the fire.

There is no damage to the building but the motor home was destroyed.

Damage is estimated at $5000. It’s not known what started the fire.
